PAKISTAN SUPER LEAGUE 2019

Bild Studios and Studio One create spectacular AR enhancements in Notch for the 2019 Pakistan Super League.

Event management company ITW Trans Group collaborated with The Musketeers to deliver an unforgettable opening event for the 2019 Pakistan Super League. Broadcast live from the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, the annual event is viewed by a global audience of 50 million.

Creative director Samer Feghali from Musketeers envisaged adding an additional exciting dimension to the broadcast experience using augmented set pieces. He brought Bild Studios on-board to deliver the technical workflow, real-time AR visuals as well as the control hardware and onsite installation.

I choose Notch for virtual production because it allows me to run with creative ideas without getting bogged down in the technology. Notch is undoubtedly an artist-centric tool.
Urs Nyffenegger, Creative Producer, Studio One

Bild joined forces with Studio One to produce 12 different AR scenes for the 50-minute live broadcast. In Notch, the team created giants, aeroplanes and impossible structures which were rendered and composited live across six cameras during the ceremony.
