Project Description
Schlagerfest XXL Arena Tour 2024
LUPIXX used Notch to help adapt the Feste concert series—a celebration of schlager music—to massive arenas in Germany and Austria.
Schlagerfest XXL Arena Tour, commissioned by Jürgens TV and Semmel Concerts, aimed to complement the popular Feste TV show with a touring event across major venues in Germany and Austria. The creative team’s brief was to design content that would immerse audiences in the TV show’s atmosphere.
LUPIXX were brought on to visually capture the whole essence of schlager music—emotional and nostalgic but not belonging to any one particular decade. As such, the creative team carefully planned the content design to celebrate the genre’s roots and evolution all at once.
Notch played a crucial role in the creative process, serving as the central platform for the team’s creative work. Its real-time capabilities allowed for instant visualisation and adaptation of ideas, freeing the team from the limitations of traditional workflows and enabling confident decision-making throughout production.
The team primarily used Notch to generate a large array of LED designs to accompany background visuals depicting, through different songs, a cloudy skyscape, a neon-lit jungle, and a European hotel from centuries past.
“Notch served as our backbone throughout this show. With it, we could give a modern and fresh feel to a musical tradition charged with history and memory.”
