Feid’s Ferxxocalipsis Tour 2024

Luke Halls Studio’s LA team created live visuals for Feid’s most ambitious tour yet across North America over Spring and Summer 2024.

When singer, songwriter, and producer Feid (also known as Ferxxo) began work on his latest tour—now having collaborated with fellow reggaeton stars Bad Bunny, J Balvin, and Karol G—he knew it would be his time to go all-out. He employed the duo of his sister and lifelong collaborator Manuela Villada and Harriet Cuddeford to handle creative direction while bringing on Stufish to lead stage design and Luke Halls Studio to lead video design.

The set—a three-tower, multi-level installation resembling a skeletal city—provided a playground for Feid to run, climb, and dance with his crew. With plenty of screens, digital billboards, and scenic extensions, the Luke Halls team had a highly multifaceted canvas with which to work. They envisioned a journey beginning in a metropolis inspired by Feid’s own Medellín, stylised with towering green skyscrapers and flashing neon to match the singer’s style.

As the show goes on, the world is destroyed and magically reborn with vibrant volcanoes, blooming flowers, and further abstraction into Feid’s world, complete with gigantic grills, swimming princesses, and digital avatars. For songs like “Yandel 150,” the creative team used Notch’s Face Tracker to make real-time infrared imagery with one camera feed on Feid and the other on the audience, who saw themselves over a red crosshair animation bouncing between different faces.

The tour has been overwhelmingly well-received, with Rolling Stone proclaiming that Feid’s show at Madison Square Garden has cemented his status as a reggaeton superstar. As Video Designer Charli Davis noted, “It’s a huge show, but Ferxxo manages the arena setting with ease, making the show feel both intimate and grand.”

“While working with thirty unique screens, Notch enabled us to react quickly in building various video arrangements to ensure a cohesive show from every audience member’s perspective.”
